The Feminist Ukraine

Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament Evelyn Regner, Ewa Kopacz and Dimitrios Papadimoulis invited participants to “The Feminist Ukraine” debate, co-organised with the Congress of Polish Women in Brussels and Elles sans Frontières.

The debate with leading Ukrainian politicians, scientists, activists and artists reflected on the progressive response of Ukraine — and Ukrainian women in particular — to Russia’s colonial aggression, as well as the country’s societal and political challenges, European aspirations and path towards EU accession.
